00.00.1880: promoted to sous-lieutenant and sent to the École d'Application de l'Artillerie in Fontainebleau
01.10.1882: promoted to lieutenant - 31e Régiment d'Artillerie in Le Mans
00.10.1883: appointed to the Groupe des Batteries à cheval of the 1re Division de Cavalerie in Paris
00.09.1889: promoted to capitaine in the 21e Régiment d'Artillerie
20.04.1890: passed the exam of the War College
00.09.1890-00.11.1892: War College in Paris
01.01.1893: general staff, War Ministry
15.10.1894: arrested and incarcerated in the Cherche-Midi prison for spying for Germany
05.01.1895: degraded in the main courtyard of the Military School of Paris, in front of a hostile crowd
21.02.1895: embarked on the "Ville-de-Saint-Nazaire"
