Imperial Cavalry Badge

The Bulgarian Cavalry Badge is fairly unknown and could be awarded to any person for special service to the Bulgarian Cavalry. The badge has several classes, how many is unknown at this moment. Known is the awarding of a 1st Class guilded version and a Silver Version (2nd Class?)

The Cavalry Badge 1st Class is made of guilded Silver and has an enamelled plate in the Bulgarian colours white, green and red. The decoration bears a horseshoe as surrounding. Within the horseshoe there can be found a laurel wreath and book on the bottom and an eagle with the Cavalry-sword in the paws as central figure. The Silver Version is the same but than completed in Silver finish.
