The National Organisation of Veterans of King Albert I (Fédération Nationale des Vétérans du Roi Albert Ier - FNVRA) was established in 1948 in the commemoration of King Albert and the veterans of World War I in Belgium. The organisation was renamed to Fédération Royale des Vétérans du Roi Albert Ier (FRVRA) in 1973 and became the Fédération Royale des Vétérans et Sympathisants du Roi Albert 1er after the last WW1 veteran had died.
During her existence, the organisation instituted and awarded several decorations.
