Médaille d'Honneur

Created by decree on 5 February 1894, modified on 20 April 20 1925 and again on 13 November 1952.
This medal is awarded for exceptional devotion to duty in the civil and military service.

There are three categories: gold (1st class), silver (2nd class) and bronze (3rd class).
