The in 1922 instituted and in 1928 revised Krzyz Zaslugi za Dzielnosc (Cross of Merit for Valor) was formally also a decoration which could be awarde for bravery with risk of life or health, by the Polish Government in exile. With the renewal of the Polish awarding system of the Polish Peoples Republic on December 22nd, 1944 this decoration was not included. The government in exile mostly awarded the in 1942 instituted Krzyz Zaslugi with swords.
