Louis E. Levy Medal

The Louis E. Levy Medal is presented by the Franklin Institute since 1924.

The Levy medal is awarded annually “to the author of a paper of especial merit, published in the Journal of The Franklin Institute, preference being given to one describing the author's experimental and theoretical researches in a subject of fundamental importance”.

The medal is named after Jewish-American American photochemist Louis Edward Levy.
