China (1912-1949, Republic)

The Chinese Republic formally excisted from 1912 to 1949. It was founded after the Xinghai revolution which followed the Wuchang uprising on October 10th, 1911 and is considered the follow up state of China under the Qing dynasty. When the Chinese communist party after the Chinese civil war took over power on the Chinese mainland as People Republic of China, the Republic of China created a new state on Taiwan.
