Trench emplacements would be improved to allow men liberties, such as smoking reading and writing at nights. Also employment and if possible training during day. Owing to the wet nature of ground men would have a dry pair of socks each day. C.O. returned from 'O' GP. and summoned Bn 'O' GP. and discussed with Coy comd the points raised at Bde conference. Bde would remain in present area for ten days. Bn would commence immediately to prepare strong defensive posn. |
