24 | During the morning, 5/7 Gordons under comd 154 Bde, moved in Kangaroos over the br at ST MICHIELSGESTEL. 5 BW were moved up from SCHUTSBOOM to 5/7 Gordons old locn area 373405. 5/7 Gordons adv through the woods to 323383 where they debussed. They then came under comd 153 Bde and ‘D’ Coy was sent on foot down into the village of ESCH 3037 which was found to be unoccupied by enemy. |
