| 151405 | 30 | A quiet night with some shelling on LOON OP ZAND. At 1000 hrs 1 Gordons passed through 5/7 Gordons in KAATSHEUVEL and adv on SPRANG 1444 which they occupied without opposition by 1230 hrs. At 1400 hrs orders were received for 153 Bde Gp to move East and take over the section of the front from excl ‘s HERTOGENBOSCH 3146 to incl the 20 Easting grid from 71 Bde of the 53 (W) Div. Bde recce parties left Bde HQ with the Bde Comd to do this but at 1500 hrs the orders were cancelled. There was to be no move for the bde gp to-day but on the 31 Oct 153 Bde was to relieve 160 Bde in the 's HERTOGENBOSCH area. Bde HQ moved to the convent in LOON OP ZAND at 1600 hrs.
