29 | At 0700 hrs an enemy patrol attacked a carrier outpost of 5/7 Gordons 569698. A short fire fight followed in the course of which 5/7 Gordons sustained three cas and had one carrier set on fire. The German patrol withdrew at 0705 hrs taking its cas with it. A demonstration in the detection and disarming of Schu mines was was held at Bde HQ at 1400 hrs.
