681482 | 20 | News was received at 0235 hrs that the Bde must be prepared to move to LOUVAIN during the course of the day to act as a back stop to the American line behind the ARDENNES battle. A conference of Bde recce parties was held at Bde HQ at 0830 hrs and the Bde Gp moved off at 1200 hrs. During the move the destination was changed, and the Bde Gp arrived in the area of BOURG LEOPOLD during the hours of darkness and was conc as follows:- Bde HQ 279822; 5 BW HEPPEN 2481; 1 Gordons TESSENDERLOO 1477; 5/7 Gordons STOOTERT 2084.
