DCLI with "C" Sqn. in support crossed their start line near NEIDERHEIDE and pushed on successfully to their objective at HOCKHEIDE, the DCLI establishing a road block on the main rd. NE from GEILENKIRCHEN – BRUGGERHOF. Meanwhile the Worcs. although successfully reaching RISCHDEN and later TRIPSRATH were having their advance slowed up, and it later transpired that their leading elements were preceded into RISCHDEN by TSM Parkin’s Troop ("A" Sqn.). |
