3 | The night passed fairly quietly except for enemy action in the area of VINKEL. The Carriers were attacked and forced to withdraw by a strong enemy patrol. Lt. Bevan and his batman were on their own in the Section HQs for some time but managed to withdraw with the rest of the section and the Flash Spotting unit.
