29 | Again a quiet night. CO hed conference at 900 hrs. Many civilians passed through the German lines into our own lines & were despatched FSP. Our OP reported that several civilians & a German soldier were making their way to position occupied by 2 Lincols . Enemy guns &maortars were a little more active than usual but Bn area was only shelled once. OM OP sent in 9 shells & 6 mortars reps. Party rejoined Bn after Bn after 48 leave in Brussels . Weather still fine but cold. |
