EINDHOVEN 2 1400 Visited Claims & Hirings. Arranged to take into use new proceedure for requisitioning & billeting whereby Netherlands Government pay under a mutual aid scheme.
BUDEL 6   Arranged to requisition Zinc Works DORPLEIN BUDEL.
WEERT 7 0930 Arranged to requisition Jan Van Weert Hotel for a club for officers or soldiers.
8   With A.Q.M.G. & D.A.Q.M.G. 12 Corps to Limburgia Hall WEERT, discussed possibilities of starting a Naafi Institute & Canteen.
9   Lt Col. Hien C.O. 112 L.A.A. Regt P.A.D. officer for WEERT called gave him information about local P.A.D. measures.
10 1100 Colonel Montague Commander 10 Garrison called, work & civil labour were discussed.
15   Batman & orderly sent to 32 R.H.U. following a 2nd Army Order to replace them with civilians. Civilian staff now 2 interpreters 1 orderly & 1 driver
17   Brigadier A. & Q 8 Corps called to discuss allocation of accomodation.
18 0930 P.A.D. officers H.Q. destroyed in tip & run bombing attack.
18 1030 Attended conference at EINDHOVEN Town Majors Office for purpose of accomodating 2 Infantry Brigades of 53 Div.
19 1130 Spoke to WEERT Burgomaster & Major Stock Netherlands Army 8 Corps C.A. urged them to apply to Netherlands Mission for further information to implement new mutual aid scheme between Netherlands & British Governments.
