5 | After a while he attacked 7 Pl with Bazookas, grenades and spandaus. He worked round behind them, and realising that unless they withdrew the whole pl would probably be lost, Major Nicholson gave the order to withdraw to the East of the village. During this counter attack, every weapon, including 2" mortar and PIAT, was used against the enemy. and several were seen to be wounded, including one officer.
