11 | 0800 | Another morning of counter mortar held under auspices of CRA. This time a marked improvement was noticed in the spotting of ‘enemy’ mortar posns and at the conclusion of the morning a small competition was organised between OPs 9 Bde and OPs 185 Bde. This resulted in a clear cut victory for 9 Bde; OPs of bns in many cases striking the exact location of the mortars. |
