19 0450 Bde Comd went fwd to see the bns and returned one hour later to say that 2 Lincolns had suffered fairly hy cas and were fully occupied in holding their bridgehead. One coy were 10-15 men per pl strong, another coy, firm in BROEK, were down to 75 men, the coy at 434948 had strength of 55 all ranks, the fourth rifle coy were est as being down to 50% in strength.
