19 | 1040 | The posn now was that 2 RUR were in general area 400 yds short of wood 418959 with one coy in the wood. 1 KOSB on right were still held up on line of rly and in the process of clearing the enemy from this defence line while 2 Lincolns were firm in the area BROEK and paying general attention to any enemy aspirations on the flank of the bridgehead. Whilst the battle was proceeding a hot meal was being prepared back at ‘A’ Ech for transportation to the tps fwd. Carriers of 1 KOSB were in posn area HEERSTRAAT 4094 and protecting the left flank of the op. |
