19 | 1520 | Comd 1 KOSB reptd that (a) His two fwd coys had pls at 429960 (b) Third coy was coming up on left to hold rd and rly junc 426960 (c) fourth coy was in BROEK with two pls 500 yds N and NW (d) Bn tac HQ being at 433956 with main HQ in BROEK. His bn was by now pretty tired and the OC was not very keen on pushing fwd to ACHEL until the morning. The Bde Comd gave very definite orders that he must get into South edge of ACHEL by nightfall and once there must carry out vigorous patrolling, the move on to the objective would be on a double axis, left, main rd HOEK – ACHEL; rt, track 800 yds E. |
