26 | 2145 | Summary of days activities. 1 KOSB carrier patrols reached 708108, 708102, 706098 and located enemy at 708098 with a post at 715100. Enemy is approx one coy strength in this area and two PW were taken. Further patrols proceeded along rds East and South of MEIJEL and confirmed that bridge at 729064 is blown. Patrol to bridge 710039 brought back reports of felled trees and enemy MGs in front of bridge, and estimated fifty enemy in the area. 2 RUR patrolled along line of railway 654191 and encountered enemy in huts at 705188 and on far bank of canal 708177 covering approaches along railway with MG fire. Enemy strength 708177 estimated at two pls. |
