28 | At the ‘O’ Gp the Bde Comd disclosed that elements of the 7th US Armd Div were taking over the def of DEURNE and would "march in" sometime tomorrow. Bns, less carrier pls, were to be clear of DEURNE by 0830 hrs, the carriers staying in posn as a defensive screen until relieved by the US units taking over. The Bde Gp were to conc in BAKEL area, 1 KOSB in same posn as at present. |
