Biography

In October 1918 formed as 4th Ural Rifle Division. In November 1918 redesignated as 30th Rifle Division. Later redesignated as 30th Mountain Rifle Division and on 25 August 1941 again to 30th Rifle Division. On 18 December 1942 redesignated as 55th Guards Rifle Division.
