Voor the knowers of the movie The Longest Day, there's a funny story in the movie about the pigeon Gustav. In the movie one of the soldiers sends a pigeon to deliver a message to Great-Brittany, this pigeon is based on the story of Gustav. Gustav was the first pigeon who brought a messag from Normandy to Great-Brittany.
