Operation Comet

Comet was the original plan which was later converted to Operation Market Garden. Compared to Market garden, Operation Comet was on a smaller scale in terms of troop deployment. Comet would only be carried out by the British 1st Airborne Division and the 1st Polish Independent Parachute Brigade. Market Garden had the same strategic goals, only differences being two American Airborne Divisions were deployed as well.
