This operation was scheduled for the end of July, early August 1944. Its goal was destroying a strategically important viaduct near Morlaix, in the area of Brest, and to seal off the city from the outside world. After the RAF had proved to be incapable of fulfilling this task, help was requested from the British 1st Airborne Division but the operation was cancelled.
