Partner: Fletcher Hotels
STIWOT is a voluntary organisation and depends on donors and gifts for its entire budget. We do not want to fill all websites with advertising, so that is why we have entered into a number of partner programmes including Fletcher Hotels. If you book a hotel through the link below, STIWOT receives a small commission. With this we can pay the costs of the websites. Of course, this link does not make the booking more expensive.
About Fletcher Hotels:
Fletcher Hotels is a Dutch hotel chain founded in 1997 simultaneously with the acquisition of the first hotel on Texel. Through a sophisticated strategy, the hotel company has grown to over 110 hotels employing more than 5,500 people. Fletcher gets its name from a Jack Russell, the former dog of founder Chris Luken. By far the majority of hotels are located along the coast, in nature reserves and on the Wadden Islands. The main hotel guests are so-called leisure guests who go to the coast, make city trips or go cycling and hiking for a few days. The share of business guests has grown to 30% in recent years, given the hotels' competitive pricing.
Since 2019, Fletcher Hotels has been a paying partner of the LREF. In this way, the hotel chain supports the goal of never letting World War II and its horrors be forgotten.
Also together with its affiliated partners in commemorative tourism to celebrate the freedom we are all allowed to have at this moment. With these partners, they have already released the 5th edition of the Fletcher Hotels - LRE Tourbook in 2024 in order to make as many domestic and foreign tourists as possible familiar with this theme.
