"His activities were of a character similar to those of Nai Boon Phong. He too acted for the two aforesaid organisations and greatly contributed to the welfare of many Netherlands prisoners of war. Thanks to the courage of Nai Lee Soon, activities could be continued at the time when Nai Boon Phong had aroused the suspicions of the Japanese and therefore was hampered in his movements."
