Biography

Bomber P/Officer Noel Douglas Fleming, Halifax MkV, ‘H for Harry’ 76 Squadron RAF.

Shot down 26 on 27 April 1943 by flak. Crashed on fire at 2.32am in the centre of Amsterdam destroying, among other things, the Carlton hotel that housed the Luftwaffe. Buried in the Nieuwe Ooster cemetery in Amsterdam.
