Biography
Richard Heinrich Georg Nitsch was a German police officer during World War II. He was a Gestapo agent working for the Sicherheitspolizei (SiPo) in Limburg and was responsible for the deaths of a large number of people.
In 1948, Nitsch was sentenced to life imprisonment by the Special Court of 's-Hertogenbosch (for multiple murders and assaults on resistance fighters in Limburg). On 18-04-1959, his life sentence was commuted to 22 years and 9 months. In 1960 (after 12 years in prison), Nitsch was deported to West Germany as an 'undesirable alien'.
