Résistant (Resistance Fighter)
Citation:
"Madame LANGLOIS provided a safe house in the Riviera district from 1941 until the liberation of the area in 1944, working for a succession of British officers. She looked after and housed at various times at least 29 parachutists and, in consequence of her activities, was obliged to change her address thirteen times. Her four children were resistance members - all of them have been cited for bravery - and this made her position all the more unsafe and her actions so much more courageous.

For her valuable services over a very long period, and for her devotion to the Allied cause, it is recommended that Madame LANGLOIS be awarded the King's Medal for Courage in the Cause of Freedom."
