    Biography

    Horst Rudolph Eduard Massalsky was born in Konigsberg on March 29th, 1920. Prior to his enlistment he lived on the family farm, Gut Neuhoff, Kaukemen, Eastprussia.
    He emigrated to South Australia in 1952, married and had 2 children. He worked as a bricklayer until he retired. Horst Massalsky passed away in 2001 of a brain tumor.

    August 26th, 1942: Unteroffizier;
    April 29th, 1944: Oberwachtmeister.
