Biography

Sergt. monteur K.M.R.

He was stationed at Veere air base (Zeeland) and died on the evening of 12 May 1940 during the battle for the fatherland when he and sailor Volkerts Meindert Deen were mistaken for a parachutist.
He was originally buried at the special cemetery at the Havenkade in IJmuiden.
His remains were later reburied at the Grebbeberg Military Cemetery.
