Biography

Stoker 3th class
He was stationed on board the minesweeper Hr. Ms. M2.
He was killed by an explosion of a magnetic mine in the North Sea Canal near Velsen on 13 May 1940.
He was originally buried at the Westerbegraafplaats Cemetery on the Havenkade at IJmuiden.
After the war he was reburied at the Military Erehof at IJmuiden.
