Biography

Officer of the Administration of the 3rd class K.M.R. special services.
He was in the East Indies until he was 20 years old and fulfilled his military service as a sailor there.
Completed his studies in Indonesian and Dutch Law in the Netherlands.
He was called up as a sailor in the naval troops during the general mobilization on July 24, 1939 and was stationed in Zeeland.
On March 15, 1940 he was appointed Officer of the Administration 3rd class K.M.R. special services, after he had applied for the position of Master of Law at the Naval Military Court in Den Helder.
On May 14, 1940 he was killed during the bombardment of Den Helder and was originally buried at the general cemetery Zorgvliet in Amsterdam.
After the war he was reburied at the Military Field of Honor Grebbeberg.
