Biography

Hindrik worked at the Low Voltage Networks. As a resistance worker with the Radersma/later van Dijk group. He ensured that the population register went into hiding in the electricity house on the Bosscherweg, together with police officer Middel. He also passed on information to the Allies regarding the location of the Gaarkeuken lock and ensured the distribution of dropped weapons. (Dropping Bakkeveen).
Hindrik had contacts with the important resistance group ‘Roel’ and successfully sought new people in Grijpskerk for the work of this group, which was concerned with finding housing for people in hiding, providing false identity cards and ration cards.
