Biography
Fritzh-Erich Brüggemann was killed in action on January 17th, 1944 when the U 544 sank after being attacked by two Grumman Avengers, flown by B.J. Hudson and W.M. McLane flying from Squadron VC-13 on board the USS Guadalcanal (CVE-60).
