20.12.1944: U-843 was supplied with fuel by U-181
09.04.1945: U-804, U-1065 and U-843 were detected in position 57.48N, 11.15E in the Kattegat by mosquitoes of the 143rd, 235th and 248th squadron and attacked with gunfire and missiles
After 119 days at sea, U-843 was sunk, heavily damaged by British mosquitoes
Onboard U-843, 44 died and 14 survived.
When U-843 was lifted, the bodies and an urn on board were buried in Kviberg-Göteborg
