Biography
The Sturmpanzer-Abteilung 219 was equipped with Sturmpanzer IV ("Brummbär") and was formed in September 1944 from the disbanded Sturmgeschütz-Brigade 237 and a company from Sturmpanzer-Abteilung 216. It was sent to Hungary in October and later to Slovakia.
