Arrested for sabotage German anti aircraft installation at Philips Radio Works Eindhoven on 28th February 1944. Interrogated by German Sicherheitsdienst (SD) and imprisoned Concentrationcamp Amersfoort, the Netherlands. Subsequently transported to Deutsche Strafe und Untersuchingsgefangnis in Utrecht, the Netherlands. Escaped onn 13th May 1944. Joined Resistance Organization Raad van Verzet Oisterwijk under Commander S.C.M. van der Klei. Joined up with Dutch Task Forces Stoottroepen 2nd November 1944. Served on frontline Venlo. Served with Regimental Intelligence Staff Stoottroepen at 's Hertogenbosch till liberation.
