Oblt. Fritz Brandt, piloting a JU88 Night Fighter, was responsible for shooting down a Halifax Bomber on 2/3 May 1945. That Bomber RG375, collided with Halfax RG 373, causing the death of a combined crew of 13, including F.O Kenneth Norman Joseph Croft , 183376 W/Op . The last punitive heavy Bomber raid (target Kiel) of WW2. Ironically, also, the last operational flight of Oblt Brandt (research Dr. Theo Boiten).
