Rolf Lampmann was born on August 11th, 1918 in Hagen.
He entered service with the Reichs Arbeitsdienst on August 1st, 1938. On July 20th, 1939 he started his air gunner training. the main part of his career he served with 3.(F) / Aufklärungsgruppe 122. The last weeks of the war he served with Aufklärungsstaffel 1.(F) / 33.
