Eduard Lindinger reached the rank of Hauptfeldwebel. After the Second World War he served with the Bundeswehr from 1956 until 1965, where he reached the rank of Hauptmfeldwebel.

Flew a total of 322 sorties in WWII, including a few as a night-fighter pilot.
