Siegfried Müller finally reached the rank of Oberfeldwebel. He was a fighter-pilot in the unit III. / Jagdgeschwader 54. Siegfried Müller was credited with 39 victories, most of them russian fighters in 1942/43. He was killed in aircombat with US-Fighters (P-47) on 21st February 1945 near Babenhausen, Germany. His plane on his last flight was a Focke-Wulf 190D-9, "yellow 10", 210088.
