March 15th, 1943: WIA in a take-off accident from Smolensk-Nord with Ju 88C-6 Werknummer 360.041
July 28th, 1943-July 29th, 1943: Oberleutnant, 4. Staffel, Nah-Nacht-Jagd-Schwarm, Luftflotten-Kommando 6, reported MIA when Ju 88 A-4 Werknummer 3797 coded '8V+KH' failed to return from operations around Vitebsk - hit by ground fire - remaining crew (all KIA):
