Paul Zorner was born in Roben with the name of Paul Zloch as son to Paul Anton Zloch and Bibiana Zloch. During the Second WOrld War he was recognized for 59 air victories in 272 operational sorties of which 110 where nighfighter sorties.
For his services as founder of the organisation "Partnerschaft mit Schlesien", Paul Zorner received the "Verdienstmedaille des Verdienstordens der Bundesrepublik Deutschland" (May 9th, 2006).
