Biography
Augustin Malar served as commanding officer with the First Slovakian Rapid Division and as Military Attaché in Rome, Budapest and Berlin. Form 1944 he was imprisoned by the Germans in Concentrationcamp Sachsenhausen. He finally reached the rank of General II Triedi (Brigadier) with the Slovakian Army.
