Posthumously promoted to Leutnant credited with 9 victories - brother of RKT Helmut Haugk (o24.02.1914)

March 06th, 1944: WIA with Bf 110G during the Berlin Raid - shot down but bailed successfully - his Bordfunker KIA and crashed near Calvoerde
October 18th, 1944: 1. Staffel, Jagdgeschwader 102, KIA when Bf 109G-6 coded "White 141" shot down by British P-51 fighters of the Polish 316 Sq. near Aalborg Denmark crashed in shallow waters one km south of Asa harbor
