Biography
Dietrich Hraback achieved 125 victories in over 1000 operational flights.He was the Geschwaderkommodore van het Jagdgeschwader 54 from October 1st 1944 till May 8th 1945. After the Second World War he served fom 1955 until 30th September 1970 eith the Bundeswehr. Here he finally reached the rank of Generalmajor.

Awarded for reaching a total of 118 aerial victories and distinguishing himself as the commander of the legendary JG 52. By the time of his receiving the Oakleaves the Geschwader had destroyed over 7000 enemy aircraft, and under Hrabak’s command it would reach a total of 10000 enemy aircraft shot down on the 02.09.1944.
